Mr. Napierkowski is a seasoned, dedicated, articulate and well organized loan workout professional ( C&I, Real Estate, Asset Based lending and Syndicated loans) with over 25 years experience in the banking industry, interfacing with all levels of executive management, the board of directors, external/internal auditors, federal and state regulators and attorney clients.
Mr. Napierkowski exhibits excellent negotiating skills, advanced statistical ability and a thorough knowledge of both Bankruptcy and State Court litigation. Additionally, he exhibits strong leadership skills in all aspects of credit policy administration. He was responsible for the retention of staff, inclusive of promulgating a training regime to meet the needs of the department while supporting development, growth and success within the company.
Recently, Mr. Napierkowski was a Senior Vice President and Director of Special Assets for a newly acquired Community bank ($200.0 million) which quickly grew to approximately $5.0 billion dollars during his four year tenure at this institution. This experience resulted in Non-Performing loan reductions from $140.0 million, at inception, to approximately $24.0 million dollars, with annual charge-off recoveries in excess of $2.0 million dollars and significant fee income while preserving the integrity of the portfolio and maintaining stringent expense control. He was responsible for establishing and writing the policies and procedures manual for the Special Assets Group. Mr. Napierkowski also participated in acquisition due diligence reviews and loan portfolio evaluations.
Additionally, Mr. Napierkowski participated in several executive level credit related committees within the Bank in addition to the quarterly loan watchlist review process. He was directly responsible for maintaining the integrity of the ongoing loan impairment analysis.
Prior, while working at TD Bank, Successor in interest to the former Commerce Bank, Mr. Napierkowski was a Vice President, Senior Loan Workout Officer. He successfully managed a portfolio of 60 accounts and resolved approximately $200.0 million dollars in problems loans . Annual fee income approximated $1.0 million dollars with charge-off recoveries in the $1.0 million to $3.0 million dollar range.
